A fantastic spot for a weekend away!

A fantastic spot for a weekend away! The property is in a lovely location, surrounded by beautiful walking spots in the Cotswold Water Park, and a short distance from nearby pubs etc. The house was clean, comfortable and cosy for a winter break with friends and great value for money, Rob provided detailled, clear check-in information and it was lovely to be greeted by James on arrival to make sure we were settling in. I would certainly recommend Rob's place - thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely house!

This is a lovely house, beautiful location with lots to do right on the doorstep. We travelled with our 1 year old and the property was very well equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning.

Perfect getaway for families

Perfect getaway for families. The cottage is beautifully appointed and in a great location. The facilities on the estate as well as in the cottage are great, especially for a family holiday. I would happily return anytime. Thank you.

Great cottage in beautiful and tranquil surroundings

Arrived on site four adults four children aged 5 to 11 and two dogs, were met by James who was very helpful with all our questions. Thoroughly enjoyed the lovely walks, wildlife and even went in the pool twice ‘in February’! Had three nights here with great log burner and plenty of kids tv and games for kids in the evening. Definitely be back.

Fantastic Break

Lovely cottage, there were 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs in our group and still plenty of space. The beds are comfy, showers excellent, kitchen well equipped. Loved having lots of footpaths very close to cottage where dogs could have a good run around - hardly saw anyone else on our walks! Play grounds close to cottage for kids also and although lots of the attractions in the area were closed due to winter season, there was still enough to do within a short walking /driving distance. On-site restaurant nice for drinks /simple food, convenient but expensive shop within. We also used the tennis courts and hired bikes from Activity Hub - staff very helpful.

Lovely winter weekend away

We stayed for a weekend in Mill Village the weekend just gone. I can imagine the Estate can get rather busy in school holidays but was lovely and quiet when we visited. The outdoor pool and sauna were great fun. Lots of lively walks just from the front door. Visited nearby Cirencester for some Christmas shopping. Well appointed cottage had everything we needed. We shall return!

Perfect for a family getaway!

The Lower Mills Estate was well laid out, little traffic and very close by acres of nature reserve to explore on foot and by bike. The heated swimming pool was great for the kids, young and old. The house was well fitted out for 8 people and our dog was well catered for and welcome. The items in the Kitchen were just sufficient and if like me you like to cook somewhat limiting. However there was a dishwasher which was well used and kept us going, coffee maker was great but missed having a teapot. It was a really great location, and property and I would definitely recommend it. We were three generations and it worked for all of us.

Well maintained, lovely stay!

Lovely stay. A well maintained property with walks a stones throw away. It was great for a young family and so easy to arrange through the owners. I would definitely recommend others staying there.

Fab relaxing few days

This is a Great lodge on the lake, everything you could possibly need, net flicks on the t.v, a funcky music system, the beds are super comfy, the wood burner was really lovely on a cold evening after watching the fireworks ( we had our 2 year old grand daughter with us and we took a large fire guard from home, maybe worth buying one?) Some beers, yummy fruit cake and milk in the fridge was a very nice touch. Well worth a visit.

Great stay in the Water Park!

We stayed at Mill Village as a family during the half term for a few days and had a great time. We were genuinely surprised by the size and variety of activities in the Cotswold Water Park and Mill Village was a super base. The hosts were great and have thought of everything when kitting out the cottage. The outdoor pool was a bonus for the kids... but we were lucky with mild weather! Looking forward to coming back.
